The big yellow line coming from the top is Worthy Road. It's also easy to spot Park Road leading to the left over the railway line.
This map is does not 'exactly' show where Abbotts Barton starts and ends as it was produced for the purpose of getting census data from groups of similar sized populations so they do not necessarily reflect an area that ‘works’ as a neighbourhood. It actually seems nobody can make a definitive decision as to where Abbotts Barton starts and ends as the City Council doesn't seem to assign definite borders.
Some of the borders on this map are indeed a bit surprising, especially the inclusions of a) a few properties that everybody local would count as belonging to Hyde, and b) of a few houses to the west of the train line. Northlands Drive is not included even though many might think it should be.
If you would like to find our more about our area (Winchester 003D), then the Neighbourhood Statistics website is a useful tool.
However, for the purposes of the Community Group we had to decide what our area of interest for Abbotts Barton is and the map below reflects this much better:

Here you can see that the western border is aligned with the train track, the southern border includes Northland Drive (but not Lankhills Road) and continues through Edington Road to cut across the allotments. The northern border includes the buildings at Colley Close and Courtney Road to the west of Worthy Road, and (not marked on the map) the Abbotts Walk development to the east of it. The western border is mostly along the river but goes beyond it to include (what is locally often referred to as) the 'air cadet site', the football club, and the little road that leads to the Hyde recreation grounds.
