Existing Neighbourhood Watch schemes in Abbotts Barton

Abbotts Barton South Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

In spring 2015 a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme has been established at the south eastern end of Abbotts Barton. It covers the 54 houses in the area:

  • Coney Green (the area south of Russell Road),
  • Oglander Road and
  • Knight Close

The aim of the Scheme is to reduce the opportunities for crime and make it more difficult for the would-be-thief, vandal or criminal to act in the neighbourhood, and also to build a community spirit so that neighbours can work together for everybody’s benefit.

The Scheme is currently looking for a new co-ordinator. If anyone would like to help, contact Elaine Barrett, via the Contact tab on this website.
